Welcome to the official website of The Local Sports Edge with Joel Oriend and Mickey Stone. While we'll never claim to be a "typical" sports radio program, we won't hesitate to promise that we offer something for every type of sports fan.

Unlike most mainstream sports media, we know that there's more to sports broadcasting than just regurgitating statistics. We take you beyond the decimal points into drama and excitement that's bound to make you wonder why it took so long to uncover your inner sports fan.

The show airs on WVIN 98.3FM every Sunday morning from 11 to noon. Each week we will feature sports personalities of local interest, national sports figures, contests, trivia, and much more! In addition, at 20 and 40 minutes past the hour, you can hear the Sports Edge Local Scoreboard with Mickey Stone.
